My Story
After a divorce left her financially devastated, Anita had to start all over again. She knows firsthand how effective a spending plan can be in getting out of debt, staying out of debt and being able to spend money on the things that matter most. She loves to share what she has learned with others, especially those who are struggling like she was. She believes that all people need financial planning, including those who do not normally have access to these services. This is what led her to Financial Finesse.
Anita has always been focused on personal finances and has lived by the adage, “spend less than you make.” As a mother of two grown children, before they left the house, she had them both take a class (taught by Anita) about the basics of money management. She often helps family and friends with their finances including impromptu workshops and one-on-one conversations.
Anita spent most of her life in the Washington, DC area but now resides in Charlotte, NC. She enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling. Her most unique trip to date was a visit to China, but her favorite destination is a relaxing vacation at the beach.
